Bachelor of Science in Food Science

A bachelor's degree in food science and industry provides excellent training in the basic sciences as well as course work in food chemistry, food microbiology, food analysis, food processing, nutrition, product development, quality assurance, and business management. 

There are two options available to students completing their degree online. The Food Business and Operations Management Option may be the choice for students who want more management-based coursework, while the Technology Option may appeal to students who want more science-based coursework. Both options prepare students for the varied opportunities in the food industry.
