Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology

Why Major in Construction Technology?

The Construction Technology curriculum builds on a foundation strong in basic construction technology, mathematics, science and general education. Instruction continues with courses covering project costs, estimating, scheduling, contracts, total quality management, safety, engineering fundamentals, technical communication and business management. Construction-related computer software is integrated into all areas of the curriculum. By blending technical instruction in construction and engineering with a strong business education, the Construction Technology program at Ferris gives students the ability to manage and supervise the entire construction process. Construction management students can choose from two concentrations: commercial/industrial or highway/bridge.
